Reclaiming Time for Builders: NeuBird Joins the AWS Generative AI Accelerator

Accelerating our mission to help AWS engineering teams resolve incidents faster and refocus on innovation

Through building startups and leading enterprise product teams, one frustration has remained constant: every incident steals time that engineers could spend building.

I’ve watched teams lose entire days chasing root causes across dashboards and logs, and critical roadmap work slip because the team was pulled into troubleshooting and firefighting instead of building. In a world that moves at AI speed, time lost to troubleshooting is time lost to innovation. That’s a cost no team can afford.

My co-founder Vinod Jayaraman and I founded NeuBird to give builders that time back — to help engineering and reliability teams focus on building, not firefighting, by putting AI to work for them.

That’s why today’s milestone matters: NeuBird has been selected to join the 2025 AWS Generative AI Accelerator, a global program that identifies leading startups using AI to solve real-world challenges at scale.

This milestone deepens our collaboration with AWS and accelerates our mission to make autonomous, intelligent operations accessible to every team running on AWS.

The Persistent Challenge: Too Much Data, Too Little Time

AWS customers operate some of the most advanced, data-rich systems on the planet. Yet even with sophisticated observability and monitoring tools — Amazon CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and Datadog among them — incident response still relies heavily on human correlation and pattern recognition.

Modern telemetry pipelines generate terabytes of data daily. Metrics, traces, and logs flow continuously from distributed services, but when an incident hits, engineers still spend hours manually connecting signals across systems.

This gap between data observability and diagnostic reasoning remains one of the biggest obstacles to operational efficiency. It drains time, focus, and confidence from engineering teams who should be shipping code, not stitching together context and correlating datapoints across systems.

This is the problem we built Hawkeye — the AI SRE for builders — to solve.

From Telemetry to Fixes: How Hawkeye Changes the Equation

Hawkeye is the Agentic AI SRE purpose-built for AWS environments. It analyzes telemetry across AWS services, your observability tools and your incident management stack  — correlating metrics, logs, and traces, and applying human-like reasoning to pinpoint root cause and corrective actions in real time.

Instead of presenting another dashboard, Hawkeye transforms telemetry into structured analysis and actionable remediation — so you can get to the underlying root cause in minutes, without ever having to worry about hallucinations.

  • Reduces MTTR by up to 90%, diagnosing even complex issues within minutes instead of hours or days.
  • Integrates natively with AWS (CloudWatch, CloudTrail, Bedrock) and third-party systems like Datadog, PagerDuty, and Splunk.
  • Operates securely inside a customer’s VPC or as a managed SaaS deployment, ensuring telemetry never leaves enterprise control.

Hawkeye scales the pattern-matching and causal reasoning engineers do manually — transforming raw telemetry into the precise answers teams need to act.

How the AWS Generative AI Accelerator Moves Us Forward

Through the AWS Generative AI Accelerator, NeuBird will collaborate directly with AWS experts to enhance how Hawkeye leverages Amazon Bedrock and AWS-native telemetry for faster, more context-aware investigation.

The program provides mentorship, technical resources, and AWS credits that will allow us to:

  • Advance agentic reasoning within AWS environments, delivering autonomous incident resolution
  • Expand enterprise-grade, in-VPC deployments for customers with stringent governance requirements to AWS customers globally
  • Deepen integrations with AWS operational services, so AWS ops teams can increase efficiency and save time with always accurate, always-on incident response

For our customers, this translates to faster recovery, improved service reliability, and faster time to innovation.

Staying Competitive in a Fast-Moving World

Every company building on AWS is racing to deliver more — more reliability, more velocity, more value to customers. The difference between leading and lagging often comes down to how quickly teams can understand and resolve what goes wrong.

By joining the AWS Generative AI Accelerator, we’re moving faster toward a future where AI interprets telemetry, isolates root causes, and guides recovery, while engineers focus on progress.

As infrastructure grows more complex, success will hinge not only on how fast we detect problems, but on how quickly we can understand and act on them.

That’s the future we’re building with AWS — where engineers spend less time fixing and more time creating.
